EP in Practice – Program 7

Scar VT

$600.00

In-depth study of VT mapping techniques and ablation strategies, beginning with fundamental principles of VT re-entry and circuitry, and then expanding into individual cardiomyopathy pathophysiology & ablation considerations. As always, we end with rapid-fire case studies to illustrate how these concepts are integrated into real-life procedures!

Description

EP in Practice – Program 7: Scar VT

Scar VT is an in-depth look at VT ablation & mapping strategies, It covers:

  • VT re-entry principles
  • Components of VT circuitry (isthmus vs exit sites etc)
  • The role of VT ablation in quality of life
  • Entrainment mapping
  • Pacemapping
  • Extensive Substrate identification techniques,
  • Integration of imaging techniques like ICE and MRI in VT ablation.

The course also addresses arrhythmic management in specific cardiomyopathies with insights on medical management, ICDs, and procedural considerations, including:

  • Ischaemic cardiomyopathy,
  • Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy,
  • Cardiac Sarcoid
  • A(R)VC
  • Dilated Cardiomyopathy
  • Tetralogy of Fallot

As always, we finish off with some rapid-fire case studies so you can get a sense of how all these concepts are integrated into real-life procedures!
